WELCOME to Donner Lake, California

DONNER LAKE REALTY INC has managed privately owned second homes and condominiums in the Donner Lake/Truckee area since 1973. Most units are available for weekly rentals; SOME are available nightly with a two+ night minimum -- call our Office for specific details.

Some of our units are “spartan” in their décor and/or furnishings and are “just cabins”; others are quite fancy. NONE of our units have towels or linens available for renter use.  We do offer to rent linens and towels at $7.50/person.  We try to accurately match the unit and it’s attributes with a reasonable price; this price includes rent, 10% tax, cleaning fee, and a refundable security deposit. The refundable security deposit is based per booking, but is increased for stays over one week. This is one reason why we prefer to talk directly to our Guests before booking so you can be comfortable with what you are renting.

About Our Reservation

We like to accept Tentative Reservations up to two years in advance in order to give the Owners an idea of the demand for their unit so they may work around your requested dates..

Unit OWNERS have the final say as to what is charged and when their unit will be available; however, unless a unit becomes un-available (burst pipes, etc.) once we have Confirmed your reservation, you can rest assured you have that time slot and price.
